Freshwater systems are sensitive to both global change and local pressures. Successful restoration requires collaboration between communities, stakeholders and scientists to define objectives and design pathways to recover collective values and biodiversity.

With its strong interdisciplinary foundation, the Waterways Centre tackles these challenging questions to move beyond recovery and to promote resilience of freshwater systems in our changing environment.
