Climate and land-use change and increasing industrial and domestic demand are reshaping the future of our freshwater.
Managing the water risks and ensuring sustainable equitable access to water necessitates an integrated, interdisciplinary response that cannot be addressed by natural scientists, engineers or social scientists working in isolation.
The Waterways Centre brings together research excellence from across the University of Canterbury and Lincoln University with a specific to focus on three interrelated themes:
Current Research Projects
